Worth it to Visit

   

    Fiesta Celebration of the Conversion of St. Paul, we celebrate it starting from January 20 and the fiesta is January 25, 2022. New normal changes so many things in our life. In this new normal, vigan fiesta may be different but we can make it enjoyable in so many different ways. Let's travel the highlight activities and prove that we can still enjoy it in the new normal.

    The first highlight of the celebration is the Vigan City Fiesta Education Night. It is an event that celebrates the city's culture and education. It shows the best of Vigan City's educational offerings and is a chance for the city's students and teachers to come together and celebrate their accomplishments. This event includes performances by teachers, teachers contest, school garden contest and many more. 

    Not only teachers but also students was there to support their teachers and schools. The Vigan City Fiesta Education Night is a great way to get the community together and show support for the city's educational system.

    The last highlight of the Fiesta is the traditional street dancing or the Longganisa street dancing/showdown performed by local performers. The participants are wearing colorful costumes and they have different creative props. The street dancing are accompanied by live music from the local bands and be performed on the main streets of Vigan. After the street dancing there will be the showdown where they perform again but not in the street, also called the final showdown. 

    So, the celebration is fun isn't it? Even if it's not the same anymore, we can enjoy and celebrate it in different ways. I hope that the highlights of the Fiesta celebration will be memorable for everyone. With the new normal, we may have to change how we celebrate, but the activities/events will still be enjoyable in our own different ways of celebrating.
