MONTH OF WARRIORS

        March of every year is declared as National Women’s Month. Women’s Month Celebration has since served as a venue to highlight women’s achievements and discuss ongoing and emerging women’s empowerment and gender equality issues and concerns, challenges, and commitments.

        The purpose of Women's Month is to recognize and celebrate women’s social, economic, cultural, and political achievements and contributions. Its goal is to recognize the contributions of Filipino women in our society. It is important because we can stand and continue to emerge women’s empowerment. Furthermore, everyone is emphasizing the role of women in the pursuit of gender equality. Women’s empowerment can be defined in a variety of ways, including accepting women’s perspectives, making an effort to seek them out, and elevating women’s status through education and awareness. We can only get there if agencies, mechanisms, institutions, private partners, and duty-bearers from the national to the local level give women equal rights and opportunities, and women take advantage of those opportunities. Gender equality is a possibility if women and everyone work together.

        In conclusion, ensuring women’s rights and providing them with the means to realize their    potential is essential not just for achieving gender equality. But also for accomplishing a variety of objectives related to global development. Empowered women and girls improve the well-being and productivity of their families, communities, and nations, having a positive knock-on effect that benefits all. We can accomplish anything with everyone’s help and cooperation.
